Balloon Blast The following activity can provide 1-3 hours of entertainment and exercise for a single child or your entire family with the following benefits: -Motor Coordination -Provides a Cardiovascular workout (ideal for poor weather conditions) -Hand/eye/foot coordination -Improves focus and concentration -Beginning sport skill development -Polishes listening skills -Enhances confidence when joining a team setting -Makes fitness fun and doable for all skill levels and interests What you’ll need: -A Balloon -A cleared space in your home -Music (optional) Activity Suggestions: "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" Bounce 1. Start with single bounce on each of the body parts while singing along 2. Go for double and triple bounces Soccer Skill Building 1. Use feet only to keep balloon away from the ground 2. Team juggling (see how many hits you can make in a row) 3. Use feet, knees, and head progressively as you go. Volleyball 1. Work the balloon upward in a "bump motion" 2. Spike the ball downward, and additionally "dig" the spiked ball. Let children create games with new rules, themes and concepts.

I love playing with balloons with my 3 boys. It is really helping them with the hand eye coordination needed to catch.
