This morning we finished the last leg of the race by ceremoniously dipping our front tires into the Mississippi River. This is part of a tradition where you start the race by dipping your back tire in the Missouri River and your front tire in the Mississippi River. Unfortunately our team got lost on the way to the start line, so we were never able to dip our front tires in the Mississippi.
