Portland Oregon is the latest city to fully embrace the bikes-as-transportation movement. The city set a goal that within 20 years, 25% of trips within the city should be taken on bikes. City government is contributing heavily to this effort by initially funding $20 million and setting a goal of funding a total of $600 million by 2030.
Do you think Portland can reach its goal of 25% of trips being taken on bikes within 20 years?
