I run into many new moms who use breastfeeding as an excuse for not exercising, stating that they've heard exercise lowers milk production. Sorry ladies...this is not an excuse! Exercise does not cause a decrease in milk production, but dehydration can. So, go out there and exercise, ,but make sure you're getting PLENTY of water before, during, and after your session.
