Oh, if I had a dollar for every time I have heard this. Guess what! YOU DON'T HAVE TIME NOT TO EXERCISE with a new baby! I know it's a challenge to fit it in, but once you get in the habit, not only will you be happier and healthier, but so will your baby.

Will working out while breastfeeding lower milk production?
I run into many new moms who use breastfeeding as an excuse for not exercising, stating that they've heard exercise lowers milk production. Sorry ladies...this is not an excuse! Exercise does not cause a decrease in milk production, but dehydration can. So, go out there and exercise, ,but make sure you're getting PLENTY of water before, during, and after your session.... read more
