Technically this is three different exercises, but its not a full workout, so I put it in as one exercise. I like to run a moderate run followed by 60 minutes on a bike in spin class and then warm down with a one mile run.
Muscle Groups: Lower Body
Run 4 miles at a moderate pace. This isn't really a warm-up.
Follow the 4 mile run with 60 minutes in a spin class. Normally I like the spin classes that focus on hill workouts, because this gives a very good overall workout and makes sure you don't just sit in the bike seat all class long.
End the workout with a one mile run.

Hi Chris: Absolutely. I do at least one brick per week. Typically, at this stage in my training, it is a 30 to 50 mile ride with a 5 to 10 mile run. Other times, i will do both a bike and run in one day but not necessarily consecutive.
