This is a conditioning drill used in NFL Training camps. It consists of two 300 yard sprints. The first sprint has to be performed in 70 seconds or less. Then the athlete is allowed to rest for 3 1/2 minutes. After 3 1/2 minutes the athlete must perform another 300 yard sprint, this time in less than 73 seconds.
Muscle Groups: Cardio, legs
Perform a 300 yard sprint. Ideally you want to set-up the sprint into successive 25 yard dashes back and forth, 12 times. This back and forth motion is harder on the body and gives the athlete a better workout.
You must complete the 300 yard sprint in less than 70 seconds.
Rest for 3 1/2 minutes.
After 3 1/2 minutes, perform another 300 yard sprint. Once again, it is best to break the sprint into 25 yard sprints back and forth.
You must complete the second 300 yard sprint in less than 73 seconds. If you achieve this feat, congratulations, you're training like an NFL pro.
