This is another exercise intended to keep the disgraced Illinois Governor in shape while he spends an undetermined amount of time in jail. Push-ups are pretty basic and the Governor can do them in between watching Cops on TV and reading his lengthy appeals. The best part is you don't need any equipment, anywhere there is open floor space is all you need.
Muscle Groups: Arms, chest and back
Find an open floor space that is flat.
Start in position where arms are stretched out before your body. Your back should be straight and your legs should also be straight. Your toes should be touching the ground and palms should be flat on the ground.
Your hands should be shoulder length apart. Your head should be looking forward and make sure your back is straight. Keeping your head up is both for form and in the Gov's case for security, this way he can watch his back.
Gently lower chest to the ground by bending arms at elbows. Bend elbows outward away from body. Motion is complete when chest touches ground, but do not stop in this position.
Immediately return to original position by "pushing" up with your arms so that your arms are once again stretched before you and straight. Your back and legs should remain straight through entire process.
