While there are hundreds of different ways to clean that provide some physical activity, for this exercise we will focus on "wax on, wax off". This may apply to waxing or cleaning anything by hand.
Instead of using a broom, or a vacuum, or any mechanical device get on your hands and knees and scrub those floors. Mr. Miyagi recommended a circular motion that provides a more effective technique, so we'll pass that along to you.
If you are on the floor, make sure to put some sort of towel or pad under your knees so as to not put too much stress on your knees.
Remember to take frequent breaks and mix-up the movement. If you simply scrub the floor or counter in a circular motion for an hour, you'll find yourself pretty sore the next day. If you can incorporate three or four cleaning activities into one full workout, you'll be much less sore.
