Basketball is in the Air!
It's every college hoop junkies favorite time of the year and the Dayton Flyers have been back at it for 2 weeks. Our first official practice was October 15. At the University of Dayton we have 2 six week summer sessions that our student athletes attend. While they are here on campus they have the opportunity to improve their conditioning both individually and collectively. Flyers Manage An Amazing Upset!
The Dayton Flyers managed an amazing upset over 19th ranked Georgia Tech on Thursday, November 19th. The Flyers took on Georgia Tech in the opening game of the O'Reilley Auto Parts Puerto Rico Tip-Off. October 16 marked the official start of the practice season and we hit the ground running. We return 10 of our top 11 scorers from last season's team and our guys are excited for the season to come. This year's team has seven seniors. All of which have really done a great job of help building our program. Each of the individually has left a footprint on the identity... read more
Wow... what a fun ride... It was such a magical season. In college basketball there are few things more fun and/or more rewarding then the NCAA Tournament. Many refer to it as the "Big Dance" and it is the pinnacle of College Basketball.
