I ran the westside highway last night...started at my home heading west on ninth street, through Christopher street (todd, I am sure you are familiar with this area)...then preceded to pace up the west side highway until 40th street....little head wind on the way up, with the complimenting tail on the way down...little swirls around chelsea piers though....ran 22.50 on the way up, and 22.10 on the way back.... knees are hurting me right now...little concerned about how I am going to get over my knee issue...one answer is take a whole bunch of motrin between now and Nov. 2...but, I really enjoy my liver right now, and also would prefer to avoid any ulcers... big weekend in FL....little bike and run tomorrow..followed by first long run on sunday...stay tuned..

Todd clearly is very hateful right now because Anthony Kim is on the Ryder Cup team and he isn't.... the wilson pro staff tennis racquet has proven to cause severe tennis elbow...you wouldn't have lasted a game if you had the pain i felt....

The hat is one of a kind. The picture is from the Alternative Lifestyle Parade weekend in DC when an obviously inspired Rusty took his shirt off to display his core strength. But I can probably get you a coffee mug with your Nursing School picture on it.

I actually witnessed a Rusty/Gregory tennis match. My recollection of that match is clear, clear as beautiful Lake Erie. Rusty got out to an early lead, but Gregory quickly recovered to pull ahead. Gregory caught fire and Rusty had several unforced errors. When the match started to get out of hand (Gregory was beating Rusty like a rented mule) Rusty suddenly started grabbing his elbow and grimacing in pain. Rusty's "injury" came out of nowhere, like a freak midwestern thunderstorm. It was like the scene from Caddyshack where Rodney Dangerfield hits his drive off of the ball washer and back into his arm and claims injury.

last time we played was last june (07)...it was a combined outdoor/indoor match because of the extreme mid-west heat...We split sets outside, then I wiped you out indoors....some may argue my victory was due to my extreme fitness and ability to endure the heat. others (like todd) may argue my victory was due to the fact that my people endure heat (even though Iran is not a desert). and others (like myself) will argue, my victory was a result of my superior skill... lets just go back up north and settle this once and for all...todd is referee.
