Before I lost my MOM to Breast Cancer, I promised her I would do everything in my power to help find a cure for that NASTY DISEASE. I've decided to run 50 marathons in 50 different states by the age of 50, (Maybe even 40). I'll be running these races to help bring awareness to Breast Cancer.
In order to support Komen for the Cure and in one small way impact breast cancer research, I personally have set a goal of raising $25,000. I'm confident we can reach this goal of $25,000 before I run my 50th Marathon. It's an ambitious goal both physically and financially, but to find a cure for Breast Cancer in my lifetime would be a PRICELESS reward. Don't you agree? I feel called to do that! Thank you so much for your LOVE, SUPPORT and most importantly PRAYERS. Peter Ripmaster Asheville, NC.

Peter! Let me know how I can help contribute to the breast cancer cause in honor of your mom. I've run 5 marathons- took a break- but may be back for #6 next year. Tim S.

My next race is November 14th in Richmond, Virginia. This will be Marathon #11 and State #9. I've heard nothing but great things about this race and look forward to another Marathon. Side Note= I can't stop thinking of those 3 men who lost their lives in the Detroit Marathon. My heart goes out to their families.
